Welcome to My Site

Hi, I’m Gabi Brown—a sports content creator, photographer, graphic designer and volleyball coach. I’m a Summa Cum Laude psychology graduate and a former NCAA Division I volleyball player, and I love telling the stories of athletes and teams, on camera and on the court.

Quick Summary

In September 2025 I founded GIBSMEDIA (@gibsmedia), where I create sports photography, player features, game-day graphics and short-form video, shooting on a Sony A7 IV and editing in Lightroom, Canva and CapCut.

I’m the Social Media Manager for Santa Margarita Catholic High School volleyball, running @smchs_volleyball and @smchs_beachvb; one of my Reels passed 4 million views. I also served as Social Media Manager, photographer and videographer for 949 Volleyball Club from December 2025 to August 2026.

On the court, I’m the Head JV Beach and Frosh Indoor Volleyball Coach at Santa Margarita, where my Frosh team won the Queen’s Volleyball Tournament and the Dave Moh’s tournament. Before that I coached for three years at Tstreet Volleyball Club.

This fall (October to December 2026) I’m interning in sports business: as a Development Intern with Long Beach State Athletics and a Merchandise Intern with Orange County Soccer Club.

I earned my B.A. in Psychology from California State University, Long Beach with a 4.0, and I’m now working on an M.A. in Sport Management there. Originally from Boulder, Colorado, with time spent in New Zealand, I now call Rancho Santa Margarita home and love nutrition, cooking, nature, and reading.
